The Venue Booking Checklist

The same 12 things we check in every Venue Revenue Audit. Run it yourself in 30 minutes.

01 Capture

  • Your website has one clear action on every wedding page: check a date, or get pricing.
  • The inquiry form works on a phone in under a minute. (Try it yourself, on your own phone.)
  • You show a real price range, or at least a starting price. Couples skip venues that make them guess.

02 Speed

  • Someone replies to a new inquiry within an hour during business hours, and there's an automatic reply at night.
  • Missed calls get a text back.
  • You follow up more than once. Most couples need several touches before they book a tour.

03 Tours

  • Every tour gets a confirmation and a reminder the day before.
  • A no-show gets a rebook message the same day.
  • Someone follows up personally within a day of every tour.

04 The hard dates

  • You have a published offer for Fridays, Sundays or weekdays, with its own price, on its own page.
  • You market the off-season months, with pricing or packages that give couples a reason to choose them.
  • You actively sell smaller events: micro-weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, corporate events.
0 of 12

10โ€“12: you're ahead of most venues. 6โ€“9: there's money in the gaps. Under 6: this is where your open dates are coming from.

When you're ready (more weddings, a bigger budget, or a new season to fill), check again whether we're a fit. If you came here from our qualifier, you'll get an occasional note like this by email. Unsubscribe any time.
